Worry Party

This picture shows all my worries meeting up in my head. They do that regularly, and whilst they know each other well and are good friends they ignore me, the actual "house-owner". They bring coffee, tea and cakes and spread out on my furnitures. There is my relationship-worry, my parent-worry, my career-worry, my age-worry, my money-worry and even a smelly worry-dog lying under the table. Outside is dark, rain-stormy night, so the chance that these worries will leave soon is next to minimum.

I think you should sumit these wonderful cartoons, to Bust Mag, Josiane. They're wonderful ... worry party touches me in particular. I deal with these topics on a daily basis. I can't imagine any woman of a certain age not responding to these toons! It's comforting to know that I'm in good company with such a great artist as yourself! Thank goodness for Yoga and my dear dog that always remind me to live in the present moment. I too relate for these characters are always knocking at my door, trying to distract me. Not very nice when I have so much painting to do!

Wow… Fantastic!!!
The representation of people rearranging furniture in your head, discussing their worries, or your worries, and not including you in on the conversation is frightening. While viewing your illustration, I can actually feel and hear these individuals in my own head discussing my life. I am very interested in this interpretation on life. I will be anxiously awaiting more cartoons on this topic.
